Spring and Summer Catch-Up!

Well, this year has proved to be another busy one, hence the lack of regular updates posted on the blog in a few months. Before spring arrived, a friend and I ventured north and had some wonderful interactions with Great Gray and Northern Hawk Owls. Also, in March, a Boreal Owl visited a backyard feeder here in Saskatoon, causing some excitement. During April and May I photographed some spring arrivals, and in June I traveled to Grassland's National Park where I finally got photos of a lifer bird I had wanted for a long time, a McCown's Longspur. Wow such an stunning group of photo's
which I expect no less from you and your awesome work!!
I love that Skunk who looks like he is in a threatening position!!
The King Bird (I think) with the grasshopper, the raised red crest on the Kinglet , I could go on and on, but I won't : }!!

I enjoyed seeing these!!

Wow these are all incredible... i was stunned by the owl pictures... All my favs on this post although I wonder how to pick up favs there.. These are all wonderful, sharp well composed pictures Nick..
